A beautiful and quite scarce illustrated pictorial map memorializing and celebrating the life of Confederate General Robert E. Lee. The map identifies key battles of the Civil War as well as important moments on the life of Lee, such as his service in during the Mexican-American War, his time in college, his service improving coastal fortifications, etc....
Also featured are color illustrations of Lee's plantations, such as Stratford Hall and Arlington House. The lower left features a Genealogical Chart of the Lee family and a chronological outline of Lee's life.
This scarce map measures 25" X 19", with an image size of 22" X 16", and is in Very Good condition, with mild edge wear, including a short 1/2" closed tear along the top edge.
