Original 1877 hand-colored map of Salisbury, Maryland, the seat of Wicomico County on Maryland's Eastern Shore.

This map also features the lines of long defunct Eastern Shore railroads of the Wicomico & Pocomoke as well as the Eastern Shore Railroad.

Individual property owners are listed by name as are some individual building footprints, including the jail and proposed courthouse, as well as the "Colored Cemetery" Along the top edge are listed the original sponsors of the map.

This historic piece measures 16 1/4" X 26" and is in Very Good condition. The left edge of the centerfold has been professionally restored where there had been a separation.

Overall a very handsome edition of this scarce Eastern Shore of Maryland map and perfect for framing and display!
