The articles contain the signatures of American peace commissioners Benjamin Franklin, John Adams and Henry Laurens at the end in block type, dated Versailles, November 30, 1782.
The peace treaty covers six pages of this historic newspaper and is nearly identical to the final treaty signed in Paris in September, 1783.
