A beautiful 1st Edition in original publisher's illustrated dust jacket.
Dick's Alternative History novel depicts a post-WW II world in which Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan defeated the Allied Powers and, similar to the real-life actual carving up of Europe by the Allies, lord over a defeated and partitioned United States.
The novel was well received and won the 1963 Hugo Award for Best Novel. It has since been turned into a successful serial television show.
First edition, first printing. Publisher's black cloth binding with titles stamped in red, yellow top-stain, a touch faded. Mild rubbing and edge wear. D36 date code to rear gutter of page. First issue dust jacket, with correct issue points. Dust jacket also with mild rubbing. Spine just a bit sunned. A small, 1/2-inch closed separation at top fore edge corner of front panel. $3.95 price with '1062' at bottom of front flap. Presents handsomely in archival mylar.
Overall, a lovely and quite desirable edition.
