A beautiful original 1872 hand-Colored Street Map of Kennebunkport Maine, in York County, showing early post-Civil War building footprints and property owner names.

In vignette along the right side are the towns of Cape Porpoise Village and Goodwins Mills.

Featured on this scarce piece of Maine history are D. Clark's ship yard, G. L. Torrey's Foundry, the various town wharfs, which are named, the Kennebunk River and Harbor Village. The names of the original sponsors of the map are also listed along the lower right side.
