An extremely scarce Civil War Regimental history.
Despite its late organization, after the Battle of Gettysburg in 1863, the unit served in many important battles, including the Battle of the Wilderness, Spotsylvania Courthouse and the Petersburg Campaign.
38pp. Ex-library with usual markings, including several 'discard' stamps to end papers. Red cloth-bound spine over marbled boards. Much of cloth on spine missing, with the binding quite tender. Severe bend to front board. Other moderate rubbing and wear.
A nice reading copy, but still quite desirable due to its scarcity.
