A lovely 1st Edition history of this storied WW I unit, with unit ephemera laid in.
Brown cloth with titling in gilt and front board ruled in red, with lightning bolt illustration.
Laid-in are three pieces of ephemera, including a 1940s photo with members of the 310th Machine Gun co. identified in pencil. Also laid in is a 1923 copy of 'The Flash', the unit newsletter, and lastly a contemporary photo of the USS Leviathan, the German ocean liner, which came under U.S. control and was used as a troop transport ship.
