A solid copy of this scarce Confederate history, this copy from the library of the Tilghman Family of Maryland's Eastern Shore.
Red cloth. Square tight binding. Clean interior, save for the contemporary bookplate of Harrison Tilghman and placed at "Foxley hall", ancestral home of the Tilghman's and one of Easton, Maryland's most historic homes.
Cloth is rubbed with a few areas of sunning, including spine. Mild edge wear.
A very nice copy of a tough to come by history.
