Handsome two volume set which includes every maritime picture received by the Peabody Museum of Salem since its founding in 1799.
Oversized hardback books with over 1,500 illustrations of which some are in color.. Dust jacket of volume I shows mild rubbing along the edges with some small nicks at top and bottom edges.
Tight square bindings. Volume One is blue cloth with gilt on spine. Slight wear on top and bottom of spine. Volume Two Is red cloth with gilt on spine.
Both dust jackets present handsomely in archival mylar. A superior set.
