An attractive 19th-century cook book for those with a sweet tooth, first published in 1883.
Tan cloth with elaborate floral décor stamped in brown. Clean interior, save for previous Confectioner's bookplate to front pastedown. A small previous owner sticker to same.
Binding heavily rubbed with mild edge wear. Cloth frayed at corners and spine ends. Small semi-circular dampstain to lower front fore edge corner of text block affecting several pages.
Overall a desirable piece of 19th-century confectionary history!
