A spectacular 1989 John Barber Chesapeake Bay Skipjack poster signed and inscribed to friend and talbot County, and Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum leader John Ford in 1992.
This poster depicts Skipjack "Kathryn", at the Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse. The "Kathryn" was built in 1901 and has been fully restored and is currently sailing again. The Thomas Shoal Light was commissioned in 1875 and was the last manned light aiding navigation of the Chesapeake Bay.
This piece is signed and inscribed to Ford on July 31, 1992 in the lower left corner. This crease to upper left corner.
This handsome Barber poster measures 24' x 36" and would be stunning framed and displayed.
