A scarce complete set of this groundbreaking and exhaustive history of California, authored by the renowned historian and former California State Librarian.
Eight volumes all in original dust jackets, in Near Fine to Fine condition. A mixture of 1st editions and later printings, the set runs from a 1973 1st Printing of Vol. I to 2009, a later printing of Vol. VII.
Most volumes in Fine condition with little wear. Volume I with mild edge wear to both binding and jacket, with the jacket price clipped and a small signature to top of front endpaper. All volumes present handsomely in archival mylar.
A lovely set and seldom offered complete. A fine centerpiece to any California collection.
