A beautiful 1970 SIGNED Limited Edition set of these two classic fly-fishing works, each signed by Bates and with a beautiful mahogany overcase surrounding the original illustrated slipcases.
Of the original 600 limited copies of each title, only about two dozen were set aside for this VERY LIMITED production, with the mahogany case and hand-tied fly.
Each volume in Fine condition, as is each slipcase. Both volumes signed by Bates on the Limitations pages, and each copy being #300, respectively. Black and white illustrations throughout.
Mahogany case in beautiful condition, with an inset hand-tied fly under clear plastic. The case is lined with felt on the two sides.
Overall a stunning example of the work of Bates.
