Wilmington, DE: The Historical Society of Delaware, 1910. 8vo. Very Good / Near Fine. Item #16263
A scarce Revolutionary War first hand account from one of the Continental Army's finest field officers, in a stunning handcrafted slipcase.
277pp. Original typographical front wrap, rear wrap lacking. Square tight binding. Clean interior. Mild edge wear. Top edges unopened. The book lays flat in a custom trifold of green cloth over boards. The trifold then slips inside a slipcase of half green leather over green cloth. Raised bands to spine with gilt ruling and title on a black spine label.
Overall an extremely handsome version of this scarce Revolutionary account from one of the heroes of the Battle of Cowpens and the Northwest Indian War.
