A beautiful set of Churchill's magnum opus, scarce in original wooden box, with one 1st printing (V) and the others very early printings.
Six volumes complete in original dust jackets.
Red cloth. Square Tight Bindings. Clean interiors. Mild edge wear to bindings. Mild rubbing and edge wear to bindings. Dust jackets generally in Very Good condition with a few small chips, creases and edge wear. Volume one dust jacket has more significant wear, with a long closed tear along the rear spine edge. All present handsomely in archival mylar.
The wooden box is in beautiful condition, with little wear or age toning. Dove tail joinery.
Overall a lovely set and rarely seen in the original box.
