Dr. Henry Campbell Wilkinson discusses the first inception of the Bermuda Islands, their history, economics, government policies, religion, invasions, and more. Dispersed throughout the chapters are black and white illustrations of significant figures on the Islands in the 16th and 17th centuries.

Of particular note is a detailed 1618 folded map of Bermuda (illustrated by R. Norwood) in the back pastedown of the book. Very Good Condition with one small fold tear in the center of the map. Of the several perforated pages at the rear of text, all have been removed.

Blue cloth with titling stamped in gilt. Square tight binding. Text block edges foxed. Clean interior save for previous owner signature to front end paper.

Overall a good copy of this unique Bermuda history!
