A beautiful 1907 marriage certificate from the Eastern Shore of Maryland, expertly framed under UV-protective glass.
This large certificate features lovely Edwardian illustration of flowers and greenery around the text.
The details of the wedding are provided in manuscript ink, celebrating the marriage of a Mr. Charles Stewart and Miss Annie Amelia Elliott on the 26th of September, 1907 "at the home of the Bride's parents" and signed at the bottom by "W.T. Lewis, D.D., Minister. The certificate also features the signatures of two witnesses - Harvey Elliott and William Gibson.
There is one small pinhole underneath the word "Twenty" of the date.
