An early 19th-century printing of THE seminal early American coastal navigation guide. This is the 12th Edition.

Original calf, with gilt ruling to spine and burgundy title label. xviii, 657pp. Front board detached, but present; rear board held by two of the three binder's cords. Sporadic foxing throughout. Leather rubbed and a touch worn with moderate edge wear. Generally clean throughout, save for endpapers with contemporary writing and a contemporary New Bedford, CT bookseller sticker to front pastedown.
