Original calf, with gilt ruling to spine and burgundy title label. xvi, 328, 85, [23]. Square tight binding. Clean interior, save for contemporary, previous owner signature and 1822 date to front end paper. Leather with moderate rubbing and wear. Shallow crease down spine. Sporadic foxing throughout.
Overall, a very nice early New York edition of Blunt's defining work.
