A gorgeous three-volume set, finely bound in full, dark green leather with gilt-ruled boards and intricate gilt decor to spine panels.

Square tight bindings. 555 pp., 578 pp., 708 pp. Clean interiors. Marbled endpapers. All text block edges gilt. Elaborate gilt tooling to board edges. Foxing to outer pages, otherwise interiors remain very clean and bright. Profusely illustrated with in-text black and white engravings. Mild rubbing and edges, with corners bumped.

Overall an extremely handsome set.
