A wonderful piece of Maryland Eastern Shore literary as well as Edna Ferber history.
The report is about the life of Ferber and is housed in a card stock folder. It consists of 14 typed pages, including title page, bibliography and Index. Also included is a page from the Ladies' Home Journal with a short bio of Ferber. On the title page is a handwritten grade and summary from the student's teacher. The student, one Bobbie Holt, received and A- for her effort.
Ferber's letter is still within its original envelope and states - "That was a fine letter, dear Bobbie Holt. It makes me happy to know that you enjoyed reading some of my books. My thanks to you, and every good wish. Sincerely, Edna Ferber."
