Written between 1968 - 1973 while Barker was in college, his "surreal comic novel" seeks to "keep him or her guessing as to where it was going next, with enough humor to offset the grim premise of a serial killer."
Quarter-bound in 180 year old repurposed sheep vellum over paper-covered boards, with the vellum featuring an example of 18th-century handwriting. Square tight binding. Clean interior. laid in is a facsimile of an 18th-century flea circus advertisement. 151pp. Signed by Barker in gold ink at rear of the volume. This copy is number "9" of just 50 numbered copies printed.
Overall a Fine example of an extremely rare and desirable fine press title. Presents handsomely in archival mylar.
