A lovely 3rd Printing of Graham's classic biography of Morgan, one of the preeminent American field commanders of the Revolutionary War.

Morgan was instrumental in the battles at Quebec, Saratoga and Cowpens, where his victory directly set in motion events which would ultimately lead to the surrender of Cornwallis at Yorktown later in 1781.

Square tight binding. Clean interior. 475pp. Mild rubbing and edge wear to binding, with some loss of cloth at spine ends and corners. Light sunning to edges and spine, where gilt is somewhat faded. Foxing to outer pages.

Brown cloth with elaborate motif stamped in blind with gilt titling to spine. Gilt on spine somewhat faded, particularly at the upper end. Mild rubbing and edge wear, more so at the corners and spine ends.

Presents handsomely in archival mylar.
