A handsome WW I-Era Guide to the White Mountains of New Hampshire complete with original folding maps.
Trade paperback. Profusely illustrated with historic black-and-white photos. 174pp. plus ads. The three maps are:
1. Bird's Eye View of the White Mountains
2. Automobile Routes of the Mountain and Lake Regions of New Hampshire.
3. The third map is a series of seven street maps of significant towns in the region.
Clean interior. Moderate rubbing and edge wear to wraps, with the front wrap partially separated, Stamp to top of front wrap. The third map has a closed tear along the center fold line, repaired using conservation tape.
Overall a nice edition of this uncommon early guide to the Whites and a nice addition to any modern-day mountain guide collection.
