1775 Revolutionary War newspaper with an inside-page detailed headline report announcing a prisoner exchange between Patriot and British forces after the battles of Lexington and Concord, and just before the battle of Bunker Hill.
The exchange was carried out by Patriot leaders Joseph Warren and Israel Putnam, both of whom would participate at Bunker Hill, with Warren losing his life for the good of the Glorious Cause.
When this exchange was carried out, Warren would unknowingly have just days left to live.
